India to get a new waterway connecting Uttar Pradesh with Assam.

India’s Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal announced a dedicated waterway from Varanasi to Dibrugarh via Haldia port. As per experts, it will reduce transportation costs and time once it is completed.
