Maersk has announced a schedule adjustment on its Asia–East Coast Latin America (ASAS2) service. The carrier is removing sailings to align with the traditional dip in demand caused by the upcoming Chinese New Year holidays.

Maersk is removing one full rotation meaning both the westbound trip to Latin America and the return leg to Asia are cancelled.

On the westbound leg, voyage 609W will be omitted, with the first affected port being Shanghai, originally scheduled for 24 February 2026.

On the eastbound leg, voyage 615E will be removed, with the first affected port being Santos, which had been scheduled for 4 April 2026.

Maersk said the adjustment is intended to align capacity with seasonal demand patterns while minimizing disruption across the Asia–East Coast Latin America trade lane.
