Bengaluru-based Sansera Engineering has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka, worth Rs 2100 crore. As per MoU, Sansera Engineering Limited will invest Rs. 2,100 Cr over the period of 3 to 5 years to expand its Harohalli manufacturing capacity. This Investment will generate an additional 3500 direct and indirect job opportunities in the region.
The new facility will be set up over a 55-acre plot in Harohall (Ramanagara). Sansera Engineering is expecting to boost its manufacturing capacity by approximately Rs 3,000 crore, significantly contributing to India’s exports in both the automotive and non-automotive sectors.

The MoU was signed at Khanija Bhavan by Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, M B Patil, Dr Selvakumar S, IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Commerce and Industries, and Gunjan Krishna, IAS, Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director, Department of Commerce and Industries. Delegates from Sansera Engineering included Sekhar Vasan, Chairman & Managing Director, F R Singhvi, Joint Managing Director, and Rajesh Modi, Company Secretary were present during the MoU signing.
Sansera Engineering founded in 1981, operates in more than 16 manufacturing facilities, employing over 8000 people. Company’s12 manufacturing facilities are located in Karnataka namely in Bommasandra, Bidadi, and Tumkuru. Sansera Engineering has an extensive client base which includes names like Volkswagen, Honda, KTM, FCA, and Hero.
