Chinese non operating owner Xiamen Feihongshun Shipping has officially placed orders for two new container vessels, according to recent data from Dynaliners.

The newbuild orders consist of two mid sized units designed to bolster the company’s regional fleet capacity:
4,400 TEU vessel: To be constructed by Jiangsu Zhiyuan Shipbuilding, with an estimated price tag of USD 42.7 million.
3,300 TEU vessel: To be built by Ningbo Boda Shipbuilding, priced at approximately USD 30 million.

This combined $72.7 million move highlights a broader, ongoing trend among Chinese tonnage providers.
