AD Ports Group has officially confirmed that all operations across its clusters are running normally, despite ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Working closely with UAE authorities, the company has activated its crisis management and business continuity plans to protect its employees, partners, and stakeholders while providing uninterrupted service to shippers.
All UAE ports and terminals managed by the Group’s Ports Cluster remain fully functional, and related marine and logistics services are operating without disruption.
While overall traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has declined which will likely result in a decrease in vessel calls at Khalifa Port the facility itself remains entirely operational. To offset regional bottlenecks, the Group anticipates that shifting global trade routes will actually drive higher cargo volumes across its broader international network.
The company expects only a limited impact on its Maritime & Shipping Cluster. The vast majority of the Group’s 122-vessel fleet is currently operating safely outside the Strait of Hormuz. Those ships that are currently inside the Strait are continuing their standard intra-Gulf services. AD Ports Group also anticipates minimal disruption to its Economic Cities, Free Zones, and Logistics segments.
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO, noted that global trade remains resilient during geopolitical tensions. He emphasized that the Group’s disciplined execution and proactive risk management position it well to support stable supply chains worldwide. AD Ports Group continues to monitor the situation closely and will issue updates as regional developments evolve.
