Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has officially partnered with Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited (VISL) to build a state of the art Container Freight Station (CFS) adjacent to Kerala’s deep water transshipment port.

Strategically located near the Vizhinjam seaport, this new CFS is designed to strengthen Kerala’s position as a major gateway for international trade.
The integrated CFS will support EXIM trade by offering a full suite of logistics services, including:
- Container stuffing and de-stuffing
- Customs clearance and documentation support
- Warehousing and value added services
- Seamless rail road port multimodal connectivity
The signing ceremony was attended by key government and industry figures, including Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Ports Minister V. N. Vasavan, and CONCOR CMD Sanjay Swarup.
The CONCOR VISL partnership directly aligns with the Indian government’s PM GatiShakti framework, which prioritises port-led development and integrated infrastructure.
