Ocean Network Express (ONE) has confirmed strategic adjustments to its South America network, specifically affecting the East Coast South America Express 2 (SX2) and the River Plate Express (RPX). These changes aim to optimize transit times and improve connectivity between Asia and the East Coast of South America (ECSA).

Starting in April 2026, the SX2 service will adopt a revised port rotation. This route connects major Asian export hubs directly to key Brazilian ports before returning via Southeast Asia.

  • New Rotation: Pusan – Shanghai – Shekou – Singapore – Rio de Janeiro – Santos – Itapoa – Singapore – Cai Mep – Haiphong.

The carrier is also restructuring its River Plate Express (RPX) to enhance connections to Argentina. Effective May 2026, the primary connection point for Argentina cargo will shift from Rio Grande to the Port of Rio de Janeiro.

  • New Rotation: Rio de Janeiro – Zarate – Buenos Aires – La Plata – Rio de Janeiro.

These adjustments are designed to offer logistics providers more direct access to critical markets in Brazil and Argentina, streamlining the flow of goods across the region.
