Circle Group and Setramar Group have partnered on a joint initiative to digitize terminal and logistics operations at the Port of Ravenna. The project aims to modernise the port’s technical infrastructure, improving data flow and document management for operators using this strategic Adriatic hub.

Upgrading Terminal and Transport Systems

The core of the initiative involves a comprehensive overhaul of the port’s operational software. Project teams will analyze and upgrade existing Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS) to increase security and operational efficiency.

A major priority is transitioning to digital transport documents. The project will roll out electronic formats, specifically eCMR and eDDT, ensuring port operations align closely with current European Union regulatory standards.
