Sidra Line is expanding its network with a new West Africa Service (WAF), scheduled to make its inaugural sailing later this month.

This new route establishes a direct maritime connection between the Eastern Mediterranean and Guinea, providing a specialized niche solution for shippers moving goods between these regions.
Operating on a seven-week roundtrip schedule, the WAF service will utilize a single vessel with a capacity of 700 TEU. The focused port rotation is designed to link key industrial hubs in Turkey and Egypt directly to West Africa.
The specific port calls for the new service are:
- Izmit (Safiport), Turkey
- Istanbul (Ambarli), Turkey
- Alexandria, Egypt
- Kamsar, Guinea
- Izmit (Safiport), Turkey
By adding this dedicated connection, Sidra Line strengthens its regional coverage and provides much-needed capacity for the Guinean market. This strategic move enables the carrier to facilitate more efficient, direct trade flows from Turkish and Egyptian markets into West Africa.
