Synergy Marine Group has expanded its portfolio of sustainable maritime assets by adding the MAERSK FINISTERRE to its technical management fleet.

Owned by NKS Canopus (part of the Nissen Kaiun Singapore Group), the vessel is currently operating under a long-term charter to Maersk, with technical management handled directly by Synergy Pacific Pvt. Ltd., the vessel’s Document of Compliance (DOC) holder.

The MAERSK FINISTERRE represents a new generation of mid-sized “green” containerships engineered for high operational efficiency and a significantly lower environmental impact. Equipped with a state of the art methanol dual fuel propulsion system, the ship is a major addition to the industry’s ongoing transition toward alternative marine fuels.

When powered by green methanol sourced from sustainable pathways, vessels of this class can drastically reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared to those relying solely on traditional fossil fuels.
