Adani Logistics Limited (ALL), a subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ), has signed a strategic agreement with Reliance Industries Limited (RIL).

The partnership aims to upgrade and expand the petroleum storage and distribution infrastructure at the Petroleum Oil & Lubricant (POL) terminal in Kanech, Ludhiana.

Under the new agreement, ALL will lead a significant infrastructure augmentation at the Kanech facility. The upgrades are designed to future-proof the supply chain for North India’s steadily rising industrial and commercial fuel demand.

Key improvements to the terminal include:

  • Expanded Storage: Increasing POL capacity to meet growing regional fuel consumption.
  • Modernized Handling: Deploying advanced automation and digital monitoring solutions.
  • Streamlined Connectivity: Enhancing multimodal links for faster, more reliable distribution and quicker turnaround times.
  • Safety Upgrades: Strengthening compliance with global environmental and safety standards.

The Kanech terminal serves as a critical distribution node for Punjab and neighboring states. By combining Adani Logistics’ expertise in multimodal supply chain management with Reliance’s massive refining and distribution capabilities, the two companies aim to build a highly resilient energy network.
