Cosco Shipping Lines (CoscoSL) and OOCL have officially revised their joint West Mediterranean West Africa (WMAX) service. According to recent reporting from DynaLiners, the carriers have removed the port of Conakry, Guinea, from the route’s rotation.

The adjustment is designed to streamline the route’s overall West Africa coverage. Moving forward, the WMAX service will be operated by two vessels, each offering a capacity of approximately 1,800 TEU, maintaining an average sailing frequency of 18 days.

Under the newly revised itinerary, the WMAX service will call at the following ports:

  • Valencia
  • Algeciras
  • Dakar
  • Tema
  • Abidjan
  • Dakar (second call)
  • Valencia

While Conakry has been removed from the schedule, the updated rotation ensures that critical connections between key Mediterranean hubs and major West African ports remain intact and reliable for regional shippers.
