Ellerman City Liners has officially relaunched its IPEX2 service. The reinstated route will now operate as a dedicated short-sea shuttle connection linking Hull in the United Kingdom directly with Gdynia in Poland.

The previously suspended service returns with a streamlined setup. The IPEX2 will run using a single vessel with a capacity of approximately 325 TEU. This regular shuttle link between Hull and Gdynia is designed to strengthen regional feeder connectivity and support consistent trade flows across the North Sea and Baltic Sea regions.

Under its prior configuration, the IPEX2 service operated out of Teesport. Shippers utilizing that gateway are now covered by Ellerman City Liners’ newly introduced Baltex service. This new route provides alternative coverage and absorbs the cargo volumes previously handled by the old IPEX2 rotation.

The relaunch aligns with Ellerman City Liners’ broader strategy to refine its short-sea shipping network, boost operational efficiency, and maintain reliable schedules between key UK and Baltic ports.
