Kongsberg Maritime will design and equip four methanol/ethanol-ready handy-size tankers for Transpetro. The vessels will be built by Consorcio Marenova in Rio Grande and Niteroi, Brazil.

Around $31M contract covers ship design and integrated systems. These include Promas propulsion, controllable pitch propellers, deck machinery, tank gauging, and advanced navigation and automation solutions such as K-Bridge, K-Chief, K-Gauge, and K-Load.
