Concord Control Systems (BSE: CNCRD) announced that its associate firm, Progota India, has secured a ₹53.73 crore order from Indian Railways.

The contract covers the deployment of KAVACH 4.0, India’s indigenous automatic train protection system, which plays a critical role in securing the nation’s inland freight and passenger rail network.
The new mandate covers the complete supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of onboard KAVACH 4.0 equipment. Designed to prevent train collisions, over-speeding, and signal passing at danger, the project is scheduled for execution within a strict 12-month timeline.
Joint Managing Directors Gaurav Lath and Nitin Jain emphasized that the contract reflects Indian Railways’ confidence in the company’s technological execution capabilities. Jain noted that the mandate acts as a platform to scale KAVACH deployment across the network using fully in-house technology, aligning directly with the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) vision.
This latest contract adds to a rapidly growing KAVACH order pipeline for Concord.
- September 2025: Secured a ₹19.45 crore field order from South Central Railway, marking its first major on-ground deployment and validating its SIL4-certified technology.
- February 2026: Landed a massive ₹185.09 crore contract for on-board locomotive equipment, also executed through Progota on a 12-month timeline.
Backed by multiple RDSO (Research Designs and Standards Organisation) approvals, this ₹53.73 crore win further cements Concord Control Systems’s role in modernizing India’s rail infrastructure and improving inland transit safety at scale.
