ONE Launches New AEX Service and Revamps LEX for Europe-Med Trade

Ocean Network Express (ONE) is rolling out a strategic update to its European service network. Taking effect in March 2026, the carrier is launching the brand new Aegean Express (AEX) and executing a comprehensive revamp of its Levant Express (LEX) service.

Both changes aim to tighten schedule reliability and improve transit times between Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.

The new weekly AEX service is engineered to create a high-frequency, direct connection between major Northern European hubs and key ports across Greece and Turkey.

  • Port Rotation: Felixstowe – Hamburg – Bremerhaven – Antwerp – Piraeus – Izmit – Istanbul – Gemlik – Aliaga – Felixstowe
  • Inaugural Sailing: The Sofia Express (v. 613S) will kick off the route, scheduled to arrive at Felixstowe on March 25, 2026.

To better serve cargo bound for North Africa, ONE has streamlined the rotation for its weekly LEX service. This optimized schedule is tailored to provide faster, more efficient access specifically to the Egyptian market.

  • Port Rotation: Tilbury – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Antwerp – Alexandria – Egypt Terminal (TBA) – Tilbury
  • Inaugural Sailing: The Vuoksi Maersk (v. 614S) will launch the updated schedule, arriving at Tilbury on March 28, 2026.
