Ocean Network Express (ONE) is upgrading its West Coast South America (AX4) service. The carrier announced the network enhancement to strengthen its coverage and improve overall transit efficiency between key Latin American and Asian markets.

Effective April 2026, ONE will integrate several new port calls into the AX4 loop to boost regional connectivity for shippers:

  • Eastbound Additions: Qingdao (China) and Ensenada (Mexico)
  • Westbound Additions: Callao (Peru) and Ecuador

With these new stops successfully integrated, the updated AX4 service will operate on the following rotation (subject to standard operational changes):

  • Shanghai → Ningbo → Qingdao → Pusan → Ensenada → Lazaro Cardenas → Manzanillo → Callao → Ecuador → Shanghai

ONE noted that these routing adjustments are specifically designed to deliver better service reliability and smoother transit times for shippers moving cargo across the busy transpacific and Latin American trade corridors.
