CMA CGM is officially making the wind propelled Neoliner Origin directly accessible to its customers. By partnering with Neoline, the ocean carrier aims to strengthen its service offerings between France and North America with a highly sustainable, low carbon logistics solution.

Shippers can now utilise direct round trip connections connecting Montoir, France, to the North American ports of Baltimore, United States, and Halifax, Canada. To help shippers plan their EXIM logistics, CMA CGM has confirmed the following initial departure schedule:
- First departure from Baltimore: April 24, 2026
- First departure from Montoir: May 16, 2026
The Neoliner Origin is equipped with an innovative primary sail propulsion system designed to make transatlantic crossings significantly greener. This environmentally friendly setup can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80 to 90 percent during standard ocean voyages.
Despite the unique propulsion method, the new service maintains full operational flexibility. It is fully equipped and designed to accommodate a wide variety of standard EXIM commodities, including standard dry cargo, out of gauge (OOG) shipments, and refrigerated freight (reefers).
