AD Ports Group has officially signed a framework agreement with the National Company Maritime Ports Administration SA to explore new investment and development opportunities at the Port of Constanta in Romania.

The new agreement sets the stage for potential collaboration on port expansion, digital transformation, and widespread sustainability initiatives. The scope of the partnership includes both greenfield and brownfield development, alongside the deployment of modern digital solutions, renewable energy adoption, waste management improvements, and emissions reduction projects.
As the largest port on the Black Sea and a critical European maritime hub, the Port of Constanta handled roughly 88 million tonnes of cargo and nearly 1 million TEUs in 2025.
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, noted that this partnership provides a solid platform to strengthen cooperation with one of the Black Sea’s most strategic ports. The ultimate goal is to expand connectivity and support sustainable trade growth across the region.
