Paradip, Vizag Port Authorities and Sagarmala Finance Corp to jointly build a ₹21,500 crore new major port in Odisha

India’s Paradip Port Authority, Odisha Maritime Board & Sagarmala Finance Corporation signed an MoU for the 150 million tonnes (mt) per annum capacity(MTPA) Bahuda Satellite Port in Odisha with an investment of ₹21,500 Crore.

The MoU was exchanged between Shri P. L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA, Ms. Usha Padhee, IAS, Chairperson, OMB, and Shri Vikas Narwal, IAS, Managing Director, IPA & SMFCL.

Once developed, Bahuda will be India’s 14th major port or those owned by the Union government.
